Who says he can’t do both?

Right on cue:
"There is and can be no justification for such attacks against innocent civilians," POTUS says of Jerusalem synagogue murders. #jpost

"All the more important" for Israelis and Palestinians to reject violence "at this sensitive moment in Jerusalem," POTUS says. #jpost

"Too many Israelis have died. Too many Palestinians have died," POTUS says of J'lem attack. "Obviously, we condemn in the strongest terms."

Pres. Obama: “I strongly condemn today’s terrorist attack on worshipers at a synagogue in Jerusalem" #Israel pic.twitter.com/7kXEATYJWK

Also worth mentioning:
POTUS notes that #Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has strongly condemned Jerusalem synagogue attack. #Israel #jpost

Evidently Obama missed the part where Abbas and his party took the opportunity to condemn Israel:
“The Palestinian presidency has always condemned the killing of civilians on both sides, and condemns today the killing of worshipers in a house of worship in West Jerusalem,” a statement posted to the official Palestinian Wafa news agency said.
“It also condemns all acts of violence from whatever source and demands an end to invasions of Al-Aqsa Mosque, to the provocations of settlers, and to the incitement of certain Israeli ministers,” the statement continued.
But Tawfik Tirawi, former chief of the Palestinian General Security in the West Bank and a member of Fatah’s Central Committee, told a radio station in Hebron Tuesday morning that the attack was “nothing but a reaction to the recent crimes of the occupation and the settlers in occupied Jerusalem and across the nation. The threats of the occupation against our people and the Palestinian leadership, represented by the president, will only increase our resolve in safeguarding our rights.”

But let Obama be clear: Israel has to make nice with the people who are trying to destroy it.
We're all calling on Israel to show restraint after this latest terror attack against them, right? FOR THE LOVE OF G-D, SHOW RESTRAINT!!!!!

@OrwellForks @BarackObama Both sides need to stop their provacative actions: Palestinians keep killing Jews and Jews keep not dying

@OrwellForks @BarackObama Dude, they even choose to build houses in Israel's capital. They were basically asking for it.
— (((AG))) (@AGHamilton29) November 18, 2014
The Obama admin and the media pretend like Jews building houses and Palestinians murdering Jews are equivalent obstacles to peace.
— (((AG))) (@AGHamilton29) November 18, 2014
3 Americans were slaughtered today, but we must remember that the real victims are the people openly celebrating their deaths right now.

Obama commenting on attack in Israel and calls for BOTH sides to lower tensions. Next he will tell Israel to stop building…the jerk.

I can't believe the president "urged both sides to calm the tensions" in #Israel – I mean come on, Obama, this was a horrific one-sided act

Obama to Israel: "work cooperatively to…lower tensions, reject violence." With Jew-murderers and their supporters. Mr. President, shut up.

Three dead Americans at the hands of Palestinians, and Obama wants Israel to calm down. If only they'd been traitors who joined the Taliban.

Obama says ISIS only understands "the language of force," but thinks Israel should negotiate with Palestinian terrorists and supporters.
