'That is no man, but a beast': Singer Toni Braxton rails against Ray Rice

“Unbreak My Heart” singer Toni Braxton weighed in today on the Ray Rice scandal. Her sister Tamar is a domestic violence survivor.

Domestic Abuse is never ok, no matter what your profession is. What happened on that elevator is downright FILTHY.

— Toni Braxton (@tonibraxton) September 9, 2014

NO woman should EVER experience that, and any man that allows a woman to make him that mad should be single.

— Toni Braxton (@tonibraxton) September 9, 2014

To not only knock that woman unconscious, but to drag her out of the elevator so nonchalantly…that is no man, but a beast.

Many of Braxton’s followers agreed:

@tonibraxton you are so right. god bless your logic

Including, it would seem, Rice’s wife Janay.

@tonibraxton she should love herself enough to leave !

— ?RAQUELLE? (@Mzquelle) September 9, 2014

Let’s hope she finds the strength to do just that.
