Twitchy has extensively documented the disgusting moral cockroaches celebrating alleged murderer Chris Dorner. But something was missing from #TeamDorner: credibility. Columbia University Professor Marc Lamont Hill is up to filling that void. Hill told a CNN panel today that watching the Chris Dorner saga unfold has been “like watching ‘Django Unchained’ in real life. It’s kind of exciting!”

Huh? What, pray tell, is exciting about a cold-blooded killer senselessly taking lives? Hill may fancy himself an academic, but he desperately needs to be taken to school. Townhall columnist and author Katie Pavlich is leading the charge:
Radical leftist @marclamonthill logic: watching cop killers on the run is totally "exciting" http://t.co/Kq8uk62r
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
Hey @marclamonthill why don't you tell the families of Dorner's victims how "exciting" going to their funerals will be http://t.co/2DWvWPqB
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
"This has been an important public conversation" –@marclamonthill on Dorner's murderous rampage http://t.co/I6EJ2A9M
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
On @CNN, @marclamonthill thought it would be smart 2 point out police brutality rather than discuss brutality of Dorner http://t.co/eXHuE8vE
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
Just wondering @marclamonthill, does Dorner's murderous rampage count as "police brutality?" Or is that just for racccissst white cops
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
You know what would have been "exciting" @marclamonthill, murdered Officer Michael Crain seeing his kids grow up http://t.co/N50YJUgI
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
Recommended
You know who was a real superhero @marclamonthill? Officer Michael Crain who was killed by your superhero Dorner http://t.co/5mvrj2mD
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
She didn't just call you a sicko, you are a sicko. Your own words prove it. Watching Dorner Was "exciting" @marclamonthill @michellemalkin
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
In the course of defending himself against Pavlich, Hill suggests that Dorner’s actions provoked a helpful conversation on “police terrorism.”
Let me say it ONE MORE TIME, I don't support what Dorner did. But I DO support the public conversation on police terrorism. @michellemalkin
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
Dorner rightly placed a spotlight on police terrorism in America. And the pursuit to catch him showed the ugly aspects of the LAPD…
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
He includes an obligatory denunciation of Dorner’s alleged murders, but uses the term “terrorism” only when discussing the police.
At the same time, he explicitly rejects the notion that Dorner is a terrorist:
Dorner was marked as a DOMESTIC TERRORIST and (perhaps) targeted for drone surveillance. This was not a normal response…
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
Pavlich boils it down:
Oh please, @marclamonthill you said "there's no waste here" and you called watching Dorner "exciting" http://t.co/VZmsAvP5
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
Then @marclamonthill u proceeded to uphold Dorner as a Hollywood superhero but OKAY u don't "support" what he did #bull http://t.co/54qdRcmN
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
. @marclamonthill translated: Dorner is a hero to some, but don't worry, they don't actually *support* his murderous rampage
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
. @marclamonthill translated: Dorner is a hero to some but don't worry, it's only cuz they *understand* him but don't *support* him
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
> @marclamonthill translated: It's okay Dorner killed all those people because it totally shined a light on police brutality (ignore Dorner)
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
. @marclamonthill translated: People feel Dorner's pain and cuz I'm a liberal, let's ignore the pain felt by families of those he murdered
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
Again @marclamonthill, does Dorner's murderous rampage count as "police brutality" to you? Or is it okay because he got his feelings hurt
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
U referred to him as a superhero, u not only didn't dismiss him, u upheld him as something to be celebrated @marclamonthill @michellemalkin
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
How about criticizing the former *police officer* named Christopher Dorner for murdering fellow cops? @marclamonthill @michellemalkin
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
I'll ask again @marclamonthill does Dorner's murderous rampage count as "police brutality" 2 u? Or is it ok because he got his feelings hurt
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
You didn't criticize Dorner, you called him a superhero and a modern day Jango, but nice try @marclamonthill
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) February 13, 2013
Hill has a history of propping up murderers:

https://twitter.com/vadum/status/301798745207623681
Now he’s pathetically attempting to walk back his outrageous remarks:
https://twitter.com/marclamonthill/status/301787410507915264
As I said on @huffpostlive yesterday, the murder of innocent people is inexcusable and abhorrent. But let's not ignore his powerful words.
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
Dorner, to many, is regarded as a hero because they can feel his pain. They don't condone his behavior. But they DO understand.
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
Let me say it ONE MORE TIME, I don't support what Dorner did. But I DO support the public conversation on police terrorism. @michellemalkin
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
You want a public conversation, Dr. Hill? Those with morals are more than willing to give you one:
https://twitter.com/Cameron_Gray/status/301786882335985664
.@marclamonthill dude! You understand a man who loses his job and then assassinates an innocent woman & her fiancé?
— Harold Stickeehans (@StickeeNotes) February 13, 2013
@tuleshed @KatiePavlich @marclamonthill This is a sick man. I hope Americans know moral and sober black people don't think of him as a hero.
— HumanNature (@S3CURITYBR3ACH) February 13, 2013
This is where the death of right & wrong have us: professor @marclamonthill calls serial killer a 'real-life superhero.' #tcot

@marclamonthill @KatiePavlich @michellemalkin Your "exciting" ex cop was the terrorist. Quit while you're behind.

@marclamonthill @michellemalkin I have to say, Marc, CD is a murderer, ask the child with no father or sister or brother.
— Martha McGuigan (@McGuiganz) February 13, 2013
Well, the shoe fits. RT @marclamonthill Uh oh. @michellemalkin just called me a sicko. Not sure where to go from there…
