Sick Gawker stunt helps cement many gun owners' opposition to registration

Seems like a good way to undermine support for gun registration laws would be to publicly shame the people who abide by them.

As Twitchy reported, online gossip rag Gawker published a two-year-old list of legal gun owners in New York City. The stunt left gun rights advocates fuming, and many are now more fiercely opposed than ever to gun registration:
