President John F. Kennedy was assassinated 58 years ago today.
To commemorate that tragic event, NBC News’ resident presidential historian Michael Beschloss tweeted out evidence that the Radical Right didn’t like JFK.
Did you see this, you guys? Didja see it?

You people need to understand that the Radical Right absolutely despised JFK.
“He has given support and encouragement to the Communist inspired racial riots,” said the Radical Right handbill about JFK, November 1963.

“He has consistently appointed Anti-Christians to federal office.”

You need to understand that the Radical Right absolutely despised JFK so that you’re too busy to remember that JFK’s assassin wasn’t a member of the Radical Right.
Lee Harvey Oswald was a communist. https://t.co/SFmANYbKoY

Lee Harvey Oswald was a left-wing radical who defected to the Soviet Union — surely as a historian he know this?! https://t.co/hwUtYQcViI

Surely as a historian, Michael Beschloss would know this. But surely as a media hack, Michael Beschloss wouldn’t care.
Local Expert Historian marks the day a communist assassinated a president by implying right-wing rhetoric played a role in his death https://t.co/ahKZAWaTgB

He does this every year.

Michael loves tradition, you see.
But of course
— Sunny McSunnyface (@sunnyright) November 22, 2021
Of course.
He's posted so much about the Right that anyone who doesn't know what actually happened would believe JFK was killed by a Bircher. It's obviously intentional. And grotesque.

Yep. It’s conspiracy theorizing from the people who think of themselves as high and mighty over right-wing conspiracy theorists
