Donald Trump’s address to the nation last night didn’t go as well as it could — or should — have. That’s a fair criticism.
That said, some criticisms are unfair.
Like this one from Ben Rhodes:

Is Ben suggesting that Republicans’ biggest problem with Barack Obama was his race? Because that’s kind of what it sounds like Ben is suggesting. And that’s ridiculous. It’s also ridiculous to suggest that Barack Obama’s mere presence in the White House would have stopped COVID19 in its tracks.
If Obama was President you’d have ordered the MSM to downplay it and that would have been the end of it: no crisis.

Swine Flu infected nearly 61 million people in the US & caused 12,469 deaths.
The difference is that Republicans by & large rallied around President Obama in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus.
