Democratic Rep. Marcia Fudge (with the support of some fellow Dems like Rep. Seth Moulton) has emerged as a possible challenger to Nancy Pelosi for the House Speakership. But this could throw a wrench into Fudge’s plans:
We have found a letter of support from @RepMarciaFudge during the 2015 sentencing of Judge Lance Mason after the severe beating of his wife Aisha Fraser. Mason is now the lead suspect in the weekend murder of Fraser. @cleveland19news pic.twitter.com/6Yzgw2gkkD

Why would anyone write this letter or any letter of support?
— asH9.58 (@asH9C) November 20, 2018
“A good man who made a bad mistake”. A bad mistake is not beating your wife in front of your children to the point that she needs reconstructive surgery. That is domestic violence. Not a bad mistake.

Not a good look @sethmoulton

And there goes Marcia Fudge’s run for Speaker cc: @sethmoulton

Her run for Speaker? If Fudge indeed knowingly defended a man who brutally beat his wife, her political career should probably be over, too.
Anybody who can write a letter like this in the face of clear domestic abuse clearly lacks enough insight to lead the House of Representatives or any other legislative body.

Wow, it’s time to send Fudge packing!
— Dan Treppil (@DanTreppil) November 20, 2018
Think it’s a coincidence that Fudge’s letter recently resurfaced?
Damn the Pelosi people play for keeps. First they accuse Paul Ryan of murder, now her possible opponent for Speaker. https://t.co/raB20oivGj

Hey, if the Dems want to eat themselves, we won’t stand in their way.
Now if Fudge is any good we'll see some Nancy Pelosi-Jim Jones documents. https://t.co/bldJPVC13k

'Bend the knee!' Looks like Marcia Fudge won't try messing with Nancy Pelosi again https://t.co/iUTAUYOIXv
