Abdul El-Sayed is scrambling to reframe the narrative around his campaign’s cozy relationship with far-left Twitch personality and all around douchebag Hasan Piker, blasting Republican rival Mike Rogers for zeroing in on the streamer instead of grocery prices, gas costs, and healthcare access while accusing him of debate-dodging cowardice.

Deflect much, tiny?

Folks can’t afford groceries. Folks can’t afford gas. Folks can’t see a doctor. And this is what Mike wants to talk about. A twitch streamer.

He’s dodging the first two debates because he doesn’t want to have to step outside his safe space in the Fox cinematic universe.

Ben Shapiro isn’t having any of the deflection, pointing out that El-Sayed is the one who courted Piker’s support and has a history of equating terrorism with Israeli military actions plus soft-pedaling his base’s affinity for Iran’s supreme leader.

But if he 'owns it,' then he has to admit he aligns with what Piker has been saying, and while those of us who are capable of reading the room already know he does, there are plenty of older, white, leftist women who don't get it.
