Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota’s own Democrat senator-turned-gubernatorial hopeful, blessed X on Thursday with a pair of staged victory laps featuring herself and three fellow Dem women leaders locked arm-in-arm, hands thrust skyward like they’d just solved world hunger. One shot has them beaming under a sea of blue “United” banners plastered with Minnesota outlines; the other captures the obligatory group hug and applause.

GIRL POWER, Y'ALL.

It’s all pure, unfiltered solidarity p0rn about delivering for the Land of 10,000 Lakes — right up until the replies arrive to remind everyone that these same architects of “results” have already torched an $18 billion surplus, jacked up taxes by billions more, and somehow managed to look the other way while massive fraud schemes (hello, Somali nonprofits) kept humming along under their watch.

It makes zero sense for any of these women to run on the idea of changing things because their party and, in some regard, they've all been in charge for a long time and haven't managed to get anything done for Minnesotans.
