I get it, every time Joe Biden is in a crowd and sees a child he makes a beeline for said child, but watching The White House's Twitter account banter back and forth with Cookie Monster is ridiculous even for them. When I was a kid (long time ago), the Muppets and Sesame Street were awesome. We learned about reading and writing and math and being kind to one another WITHOUT being lectured about skin or sex or ability or anything else our 'betters' believe we should be concerned about. Cookie Monster in particular was just a monster that ate a lot of cookies ... in a fast, hilarious way.
He would never have used the word 'shrinkflation' let alone talk about it on Twitter.
Just how young does the White House think their voters are?
Me hate shrinkflation! Me cookies are getting smaller. 😔

Oh, Cookie. You too?
Remember when we weren't surrounded by politics 24/7? It's been a long time but it was far better for all of us. Now, we can't even have kids shows without the White House exploiting them for votes.
What sort of person thinks it's a good idea to exploit Muppets?
Never mind, we know.

Ok, that's actually funny.
Hey, if they can use Sesame Street, so can we.
