Blue-check claims Indigenous peoples were all about GAY RIGHTS and abortion before white men showed up

You know those tweets you read and think to yourself, ‘My kids are never going to that college if this yahoo lectures there’?

Yeah, this is one of those tweets. Seems Simon Moya-Smith, who lectures at CU Denver, thinks it was the evil white man who made things so violent and horrible when they came over and stopped the love fest that was taking place with Indigenous peoples.

Don’t make that face, we didn’t write it.

Before white people came to this land, there were no jails, no homelessness, no laws against homosexuality or abortion. For thousands of years, Indigenous peoples emphasized health, housing, freedom to love who you love and the fact that we need Mother Earth. She doesn’t need us.

Before the white man showed up Indigenous people were never violent and totally supported homosexuality and reproductive care.
