Jim Swift has spent his entire professional LIFE working and slaving for the conservative movement and what THANKS does he get? How dare Republicans not bow down and thank him for being a sanctimonious know-it-all taking time out of his busy day shaming the Right in general in order to specifically shame them?
I have dedicated my entire professional life to the conservative movement. Today was a very sad day to be a Republican. It brings me no joy to admit this.

Yesterday was a sad day to be a Republican? Huh. We were pretty sure it was a sad day to be a Democrat what with how embarrassing the hearing went but hey, if this admission somehow helps Jim sleep better at night … whatever floats his boat.
It seemed like Republicans were finally fighting BACK to most of us. *shrug*
And really, did Jim think this would go well?
I'm so sorry this is happening to you.

Right? Poor Jim.
Thoughts and prayers, man.
It must be horrific going through this while taking a paycheck to cash in on anti Trump sentiment (at diminishing returns). A real Sophie's Choice for Jim

Hey now, he finds no joy in admitting he’s sad to be a Republican and stuff.
I’ve been a conservative most of my life & for once I was damn proud of GOP in House Intel Committee for hitting back on these ridiculous claims of quid pro quo
I’m most proud of President Trump who is not conservative, but a proud American working to #MAGA for ALL Americans

Why? We have the transcript, so we KNOW Trump did nothing wrong. All we saw yesterday was people with *no direct involvement* offer their opinions/interpretations of what others told them. We don’t even know what, exactly, they were told & how truthful it was.

It was nothing more than the circus we expected it to be.
Um… a Blackface infanticide Governor of Virginia isn’t conservative. I’m not sure what you misspelled.

Oof.
Good grief. So much Drama

You can tell he was holding the tears back while tweeting it.
I'm a Conservative and have never heard your name.
— Terry O' (@IrishTea1) November 14, 2019
Ouch.
Fortunately you are young enough to start over, learn some useful trade, move to another city, change your name, leave your shameful past behind.

Welding, definitely welding. Maybe HVAC?
Poor baby sorry this is happening to you pic.twitter.com/HefBpToamn

You need to get out more. Lol
Hope you are ok. Thoughts and prayers.— kerry ⭐⭐⭐ ?? (@K1erry) November 14, 2019
Now, to be fair, Jim did get some support on his tweet … from Democrats.
As a democrat, I believe we need a principled Conservative party. The GOP has been going off the rails since the religious right gained power under Reagan. Progressively more extreme & intolerant, ironically. The Trump GOP is just sick. The lies & gaslighting made me ill today.
— MamaPause (@Hermela14235980) November 14, 2019
It’s been a sad 3 years! Republicans should look at this a different way. This is their chance to get rid of this unqualified and unfit buffoon… not defend his horrible behavior. He’s guilty as hell, you all know it. Cut him loose and right the ship. This is stupid.
— Hotel Charlie Lima (@HCL43) November 14, 2019
We agree, this is stupid.
Oh wait, we meant Jim’s tweet … never mind.
