If this editor is being honest, she really, really, really, really hopes Eric Swalwell stays in the race for as long as humanly possible because HOLY COW, the only other person who gives us this much content is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Eric is really trying to play the ‘young Democrat’ angle here, especially after he dissed Biden and Sanders and basically anyone older than him during the debates last week. Watch him compare himself to other famous, young Democrats:
We will win if we look forward. We are where we are because of failed leadership in the past. We need to look towards the future now. pic.twitter.com/LdQKf6Hjmj

Maybe Carter.
And trust us, that’s NOT a compliment.

But it’s early and stuff!
TIME TO PASS THE TORCH.
So bad.
The future is this chicken sandwich. It has more support than your campaign pic.twitter.com/QChbKXMMDb

That’s RIGHT! Eric couldn’t get more likes than a picture of a Chick-fil-A sandwich.
Hoo boy.
Drop out and lobby for @KamalaHarris @SenKamalaHarris seat after she becomes President

Ouch, when even Democrats are telling him it’s game over?
Eric, I say this because I genuinely like you & what you stand for. I know your only objective is to make people safer & have as big an impact as possible.
So with that said, I think your voice is more effective & necessary as a Rep – and, perhaps CA governor.

Look at how nicely they are telling him to bail out.

Total ageism, and I resent it. Lots of voters are old. Swalwell offers no new ideas.

Considering older people are more likely to vote than younger people? Yeah, pretty sure this angle is his dumbest yet … and that says a lot considering how ridiculous his gun control campaign points have been.
