Now, Anthony Bourdain. How terribly sad!
Please, please, let us treat mental illness, depression and suicide as health issues, not defects of character. That stigma is part of what prevents people from getting help they need. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255— David Axelrod (@davidaxelrod) June 8, 2018

Anthony Bourdain was the 1st chef who made me feel like he loved the people who made the food he ate in exotic cities, not just the food. Sad to hear about his suicide. If you’re in a dark place, here’s the national suicide prevention line. 24 hrs, no judgment:1-800-273-8255

So sad to hear the news about Anthony Bourdain’s death by suicide. He was an incredibly charismatic and inspiring man. You never know who might be struggling or what internal battle someone could be facing. The importance of being there to listen and to talk can’t be overstated.

Anthony Bourdain chased all great things the world offered, with an open mind about everything and a compassion for misfits everywhere. Any episode of his show reminded me there was more to enjoy and experience. Whatever happened in his final struggle, his life was an inspiration
