We’re pretty sure Katy Perry singing about fake news is a sign of the end of times.
Just sayin’.
Is Katy Perry's new single the first major pop song about fake news? The once-carefree star is getting political https://t.co/5vI4mDQXlx pic.twitter.com/WrHmfkZvfg

Perry’s latest song, “Chained to the Rhythm” is a political hot mess, especially since she sings about fake news, which will likely upset Chris Cuomo who just yesterday compared the term to the media’s own personal n-word (he did apologize but WOW).
The song isn’t being met with the most positive feedback; we did listen to it but sadly had to turn it off when a large gathering of cats tried to take over the office.
It was the darndest thing.
It's like a synthesizer and a toilet has a baby https://t.co/NGCxXPjtuR

I love Katy Perry. This is the worst song I've ever heard. Trump is ruining everything. https://t.co/WlKTgu9FcM

Actually it’s climate change that ruins everything. Duh.
All great songs must include the line "stumbling around like a wasted zombie"… so this one is sure to be a classic.

Poetic to say the very least.
I'm not even sure I understand the sentiment. Does she want us to drink? That usually makes someone's rhythm worse…

Beyond the weird tie in with dancing and drinking (and zombies), we THINK the main message of her song is that people are not really informed … or something. Pretty sure she was going for some deep, edgy sentiment here but like Shapiro said, it came out more synthesizer and toilet.
What a visual.
