As Conservatives, we have grown used to award shows being non-stop hatred of the president, the country, and to some extent, ourselves as well. Entertainment types seem to think standing in front of a room of their peers WHO AGREE WITH THEM and badgering a bunch of people politically is somehow some great and brave thing.
Which we all know is just not so.
But what Chris Pratt did and said when he won the ‘Generation Award’ at the MTV Awards was actually very brave, and pretty damn awesome.
See for yourself.

And all too rare.
The god stuff was pretty lame, but otherwise good advice!

God stuff is lame. *eye roll*
The God stuff took more courage to do in Hollywood than someone coming out of the closet or pretending to be oppressed

The amount of respect I had for Chris has grown on a Exponential Rate! A true road model and a true Guardian!
Also God bless whatever soul decided to play “Hooked On A Feeling” during this.

He gives us hope too.
He and McConaughey are standouts. They are even more impressive against the left's darlings – DeNiro, Griffin, etc.

You mean Chris figured out that he had an opportunity to actually inspire people and not just yell f*ck the president?
What a brave speech, @prattprattpratt You definitely earned it. God bless you.

Robert DeNiro could learn a thing or five from Chris.
