Representative Frederica Wilson wants everyone to know why she’s not attending the SOTU (not that most of us care but still, she thinks we do).
We’ll just chalk this up to another, ‘Look at me, look at me, look at me,’ stunt from Wilson that doesn’t involve her AWFUL cowboy hats for a change.
Rep. Frederica Wilson on why she's boycotting the State of the Union address: "To go would be to honor the President and I don't think he deserves to be honored at this time, after being so hateful towards black people and then black countries" https://t.co/8iV18Lj498

Actually, the State of the Union is about the UNION, aka the country. Otherwise, the speech would be called the State of the President.
And to think, people actually elected this woman.
I’m sure a veteran would love to take your place.

Love this idea.
Hateful, nasty, liberal. Is she a racist?

The jury is still out on that one.
So she only represents black people? OK I see how this works. Who'd the real racist now? Won't miss he one bit BTW

To go would be to do your job. All you’re teaching our children is how not to compromise, how not to show respect, and how not to do your job. You are supposed to represent everyone in your district not just those who voted for you. So sad.

And sadly, so typical.
This is a great way to make this about her, and of course CNN is always willing to help. The State of the Union is about our country. The president is the messenger but if you’re an elected official you attend on behalf of the people that sent you there.

Nailed it. Frederica wants to make this about HER and her agenda, and in doing so she is completely ignoring the people who elected her.
That’s quality information. I feel so much better knowing she will not be in attendance.

We’re just going to keep things simple and boycott her hat.
