To be honest, we were waiting for these to come trailing in: Hollywood is overwhelmingly liberal, and of course, actresses would be claiming that at least Hollywood made an honest attempt at cleaning its own house while empowering women throughout the process.
Here’s actress and writer Whitney Cummings, perhaps best known for the TV show “2 Broke Girls.”
It’s a sad day when Hollywood has a more ethical approach to removing sexual predators than the American Government.
— Whitney Cummings (@WhitneyCummings) September 28, 2018
What, you mean like Ron Perlman peeing on his own hands before shaking hands with Harvey Weinstein at some Hollywood event?
We doubt that story’s even true, but even if it is, it shows what everyone knows: everyone in Hollywood knew that had a sexual predator on their hands and either ignored it or called him “God” from the stage at awards ceremonies.
But tell us more about Hollywood’s more ethical approach than (begrudgingly) adhering to due process.

Maybe it’s because Hollywood is way more familiar with sexual predators than any other demographic in this country. I think they put their 10000 hours in and then some.

How many years did it take to expose Weinstein for events that were happening constantly and even joked about?
You are part of the industry with ZERO moral high ground here.— American – David (@Dcoxboomer) September 29, 2018
Yup, everyone was willing to look the other way when Harvey Weinstein was advancing women's careers in exchange for sex. He'd still be doing it if Brad Gray didn't die.
— Outdoor Networks (@OutdoorNetworks) September 28, 2018
Well said and exactly right! Whitney you are a laughingstock for saying something so completely false. That predator had his way for YEARS. Weinstein had his hands on everything (literally), so much so they would joke about him at awards ceremonies and roasts (Ben Afleck). *SMH*
— MaximusDecimusMeridius (@MaxDecMerMiddle) September 29, 2018
Harvey Weinstein and all the people that covered for him say hello ?
— McKinley ?? (@mckinleymat) September 29, 2018
??????
When Weinstein finally got booted, I was thinking maybe there were some morals. Nope. Nothing but a RICO action will expose what Hollywood is burying. You're doing a poor job covering up the depravity.
— Paled-Faced Gamer (@CrackaMattWhite) September 29, 2018
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA are you serious?
You scapegoated Weinstein and now pretend Hollywood is just a good wholesome town where nothing else is going on.This is the kind of SH!T that makes us all laugh at you..
— Mike Suckerberg (@MiKeUltra6) September 28, 2018
This may be the most ridiculous thing that has been said by anyone on the left at this point. You all knew what was going on for years and did nothing and now you’re all trying to cover up the pedophiles too.
— Jack Storrie (@jacktorrie) September 29, 2018
Yeah, and your poster girl for #MeToo turned out to be a predator too. You’re all nuts and no one should listen to you.

Yes because destroying a persons life over a single accusation without any assembence of due process sure is ethical. https://t.co/DSzdoEPUL5
