The New Yorker’s cartoon-based essay, “Seven Signs That Your Man’s Masculinity Is Nontoxic,” certainly looks tongue-in-cheek (it’s filed under “Humor”), but it managed to trigger a ton of responses nonetheless.

Was it satire when The New Yorker wrote an alarming piece about the “creepy infiltration” of New York City by Chick-fil-A and its “pervasive Christian traditionalism”? It had to be.
