With reports of 7 Iranians dead in Israeli air strike in Syria, you could almost say Syria is Iran's route to the sea...

There are reports out this morning that Sunday’s suspected Israeli air strike on an airbase in Syria killed 7 Iranians:

BREAKING: Iran's Tasnim news agency: 7 Iranians died in Israel's airstrike in Syria; bodies brought to Tehran for funerals.

According to reports, the 7 were “military advisers”:

Correction: According to Tasnim, the bodies of the SEVEN Iranian military advisers killed in Syria airstrike arrived in Tehran today. Only six are named.

And Iran is vowing revenge:

What’s amusing to us is just how acceptable Iran’s presence in Syria has become when just 5 short years ago, Mitt Romney was roundly mocked for being 100% right about Syria being Iran’s path to the [Mediterranean] sea. Some examples:
