CNN’s Jim Acosta is not the first person we’d normally go to for a “fact-check” of anything, and Tuesday night was no exception. Excerpts from President Trump’s State of the Union speech have gone out, and Acosta was already fact-checking Trump’s willingness to work across the aisle with Democrats.

Yes, Trump did recently refer to Sen. Schumer as “Cryin’ Chuck” in a tweet.
