Russian passport holder Steven Seagal called Piers Morgan from Moscow to slam kneeling NFL players

Actor Steven Seagal is trending right now on Twitter for going after NFL players who took a knee during the national anthem on Sunday:

Seagal, who has a Russian passport that he received directly from Vladimir Putin, called into the London-based show from Moscow and said he’s risked his life “countless times for the American flag“:

I think it’s outrageous, I think it’s a joke, it’s disgusting. I respect the American flag. I myself have risked my life countless times for the American flag and I don’t understand or agree with this kind of behaviour. I think it’s an outrage.
