As Twitchy reported Thursday night, pop star Demi Lovato hit the stage in Iowa City to stump for Hillary Clinton. Students from the University of Iowa seemed to enjoy the show, although many, many Lovato fans on Twitter urged the singer to dump Clinton and #FeelTheBern instead.
Lovato has promised to post photos from the event, which we assumed Clinton had attended despite an absence of coverage. As it turns out, those students who turned out hear Clinton and not Lovato might as well have stayed in their dorms, as Clinton — who claims she will match her endurance against anybody — did appear, following up her opening act with a five-minute speech before calling it quits.
