'Is this for real?' Carl Reiner gives 'dumb' reason to 'elect our 1st woman president'

Carl Reiner is a comedy legend, and we respect him for that. But we can’t really respect him for this logic:

Is is not about time that we, who were born & lovingly raised by our mothers do everything to insure that we elect our 1st woman President?
