Poll shows 10 percent of college grads think Judge Judy is on Supreme Court; Maybe she should be?

CNN is reporting today on the results of a poll conducted by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni last August, which suggest that college graduates are “alarmingly ignorant of America’s history and heritage.”

For what it’s worth, “Judge Judy” wasn’t an option listed on the poll; rather, she was listed by her full name of Judy Sheindlin.

That’s a possibility as well.

Quite a few were inspired by the survey to ask why Judge Judy isn’t on the Supreme Court.

Of course, the poll consisted of more than one question, and the results were disturbing.

CNN further reports that the poll found that “almost 60% of college graduates couldn’t correctly identify a requirement for ratifying a constitutional amendment and 40% of college graduates didn’t know that Congress has the power to declare war.”
