A second man was arrested overnight in connection with the terror investigation that resulted in the officer-involved shooting of Usaama Rahim yesterday outside of a Boston area CVS.
The man, identified as David Wright of Everett, Mass., is expected in federal court today to reportedly face charges that he and Rahim were planning an imminent attack on a police officer:

Although the FBI and Boston police haven’t commented on the record, the Boston Globe is reporting that the two were plotting to “behead a police officer” and that the attack was planned for Tuesday (yesterday):

The man fatally shot by anti-terrorism officers in Boston on Tuesday and the suspect arrested Tuesday night in Everett had conspired to kill a police officer, according to two law enforcement officials briefed on the case.
“We believe the intent was to behead a police officer,” one official said Wednesday morning. “We knew the plot had to be stopped. They were planning to take action Tuesday.”
More details are expected to be released when the suspect from Everett, David Wright, appears in federal court in Boston Wednesday.
The Boston police and the FBI have declined comment on the specifics of the plot.

According to reports, the shooting of Rahim was captured on surveillance video and that the video is expected to be shown to local community leaders as early as today in an effort to end any speculation that the officers’ actions were not justified:
.@bostonpolice say they have video proving #Rahim was aggressor in #Roslindale #shooting. They'll reportedly show it to @isbcc this week.

Of note, Usaama Rahim’s brother, Ibrahim Rahim, a local imam, accused the officers of shooting his brother in the back:

Ibrahim Rahim’s account, however, differs from what the FBI and Boston police are saying about the incident:
Ibrahim Rahim's post contradicts the police version of events. One question this AM is when the video showing it all will be released #fox25

Good. Get that video out as soon as possible and put an end to this false narrative:

We’ll bet that it all adds up once we see the video.
