Killing of man who pulled knife on FBI agent illustrates 'double burden of racism and Islamophobia'

As Twitchy reported this morning, a suspect under surveillance by the FBI and the Boston Police Department’s anti-terror task force was shot and killed when he reportedly pulled out a “military style knife” when confronted.

Fox 25 News Boston reports that law enforcement officials say they have surveillance video that shows Usaama Rahim pulling a knife. Rahim was under 24-hour surveillance by the Joint Terrorism Task Force. Fox 25 further reports that law enforcement today had blocked off a street in Everett and had established a third crime scene in Rhode Island possibly connected to the case.

Call it another facet of the “Ferguson Effect” if you like, but tweeters immediately expressed their suspicions about the shooting, classifying it as murder.
