As Twitchy reported this morning, the Democrats yesterday managed to surprise a large portion of Twitter even by doing the exact same thing they always do: commemorate every solemn holiday, notable death and historic event by posting a photo of the Narcissist-in-Chief. This year’s Memorial Day tweet was particularly “meta” — not only was it a photo of President Obama eating ice cream, but a photo of President Obama surrounded by other photographers taking pictures of him eating ice cream.
Twitchy managed to compile quite a few tweets from citizens wondering if the Democrats have any idea what Memorial Day is really about. The Democrats seem to have picked up on the criticism and have issued another Memorial Day tweet today. The holiday is about more than just ice cream; it’s about barbecue as well.
