Mashable claims #NetNeutrality has 'Internet' rejoicing; Huh. Could've fooled these people

“Ominous” is a perfect word to describe everything about what’s just happened.

The FCC has decided, once again, that it knows what’s best for consumers, voting 3 to 2 to enact net neutrality regulations. Tech site Mashable was among those reporting the big news:

Here’s the first paragraph from Mashable’s post:

Net neutrality advocates rejoiced on Thursday as the FCC voted to enact strict regulation on the companies that connect people to the Internet.

So evidently, “net neutrality advocates” are now synonymous with “the Internet.” Guess all of these people just don’t count, then:
