The latest candidate for SMOD, Asteroid 2000 BL86 looks like it will be a disappointment for these people. It will come very close to Earth but it will not release us from having to endure campaign 2016, the next über-feminist wave of outrage, or Neil de Grasse Tyson’s Twitter feed.
