Boomer Esiason calls out 'turd' charged in Brooklyn Bridge brawl with police

Newsday reported Friday that a teaching assistant was being held on $25,000 bail after being arraigned in connection with a brawl that left two police officers injured. Jarrod Shanahan, 29, a graduate teaching assistant at The City University of New York, was not charged with striking the officers but rather with colluding with those who did.

The two officers were injured as protesters blocked the Brooklyn Bridge in both directions as part of the “mostly peaceful” #MillionsMarchNYC. Both officers were hospitalized, one with a broken nose, after a clash with demonstrators.
