With the space shuttles demoted to museum exhibits, NASA has relied on Russia to get American astronauts to and from the International Space Station. Now Russia is planning to cut us off because of sanctions over the Ukraine conflict. Remember when Mitt Romney took all that heat for suggesting Russia was our biggest geopolitical foe? Good times.
Quick! Somebody at NASA create a hashtag to fix this!
On the plus side, not going to the space station gives NASA a lot more time to focus on its true mission, Muslim outreach.
