James Woods Shreds NYTimes' Laughable 'We Don't Publish Speculation or Unverified Info' Defense

Yesterday brought with it another banner moment for "journalism" after a terrorist attempted to hijack and crash a passenger jet that was flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv and carrying mostly Israeli passengers. The jihadist's attack was thwarted, but what ensued was another example of just how fast the memo got around to all the media outlets:

The New York Times calling what happened in the cockpit an "altercation" earned the mother of all Community Notes:

The Times didn't like that reality check, and later the PR department had this defense of their original report:

"We don't publish speculation of unverified information" is simply not true.

The latest example why comes from James Woods. 

There are many more examples as well, but that might be one of the Times' most egregious displays of "fake news" in recent memory. Adam Schiff appreciated their assistance in spreading the lie, however.
