Overton dropped the clip of Sen. Eric Schmitt dog-walking Smith into a very specific question about an Atlanta basketball game the day after Fani Willis’s romance became public, and suddenly the former special counsel looks completely lost ... and nervous.

We suppose not knowing just how many receipts they actually have (and what they may actually KNOW) and learning this point in a very visible and public way would cause anyone to look like a deer caught in headlights, but especially a slimeball lawyer like Smith.

Smith knew he was under oath in front of the entire Senate Judiciary Committee.

SMITH: “No.”But this was all just preamble for what Senator Schmitt was about to reveal.
SCHMITT: “What would you say if I had a series of text messages from your team that said you were in Atlanta at a Warrior-Hawks game on February 3rd, 2024, the day after Willis and Wade announced their affair?”
Senators then held up the text message receipts.
Smith looked absolutely stunned.
