The "journalism" clown car continues to try and carry as many Democrat talking points as possible, and AOC is one of the people in her party who continue to push a "lynching" narrative even though this particular take got obliterated by a Community Note:

Democrats and their media allies just don't care about the facts when they've got propaganda to push ahead of a midterm election.
Previously the Associated Press decided it was best not to wreck the narrative by only mentioning the race of the victim in their post and headline and not the suspect in custody.
Now we're up to three suspects in custody, and all of them bring AOC and the Dems' spin crashing down around them, but ABC News is among outlets still in no hurry to wreck the narrative in their story:
