A University of Michigan town hall just handed Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed a test he apparently could not pass.
Iranian-American student Iman Dashti described relatives hunted by the IRGC, an uncle sentenced to death and lashed, and protesters slaughtered by the Islamic Republic — then asked the Democrat, point-blank, whether he would condemn the regime and stand with Iranians fighting it.
El-Sayed talked about “movements for freedom and democracy” and warned against U.S. regime change. He never delivered the clear denunciation Dashti asked for.
The clip is now exploding online, and the dodge is the whole story.
This is insane. A young Iranian-American describes how his family has been hunted by the IRGC, cites tens of thousands of protesters reportedly killed by the regime, and asks Abdul one simple question: Will you condemn the IRGC?

Dangerous, even.
That anyone running to be an American senator would not unequivocally condemn the Islamic Regime should be campaign ending.
He is so dangerous and has no place being in the US Senate. Shame on @TheDemocrats for letting him get this far as a candidate. He is a national security risk.
