CNN’s Dana Bash spent Sunday morning trying to guilt-trip a Green Beret over the radical notion that the White House is not a constitutionally mandated workspace for her network.

Nice try, toots.

After U.N. Ambassador Mike Waltz had the nerve *GASP* to defend President Trump keeping CNN, MS NOW, and Politico off the premises, Bash reached for the oldest cable-news prop in the drawer: his 27 years in an elite unit, as if combat service automatically requires a man to nod along while she lectures him about “freedoms” her own shop spent years treating like a one-way street.

Then she thanked him for fighting for those freedoms and, having nowhere left to go, announced she was at a loss for words.

For once, she wasn’t wrong.

Oh, she was wrong in her premise, but thanking for his service? Spot on.
