In response, the diminutive Democrat responded with a pic of President Donald Trump walking along our nation’s southern border wall. Thanedar’s failed zing only proved what a dingbat he is. Apparently, he doesn’t understand that walls can serve two purposes.

No. The Soviet Union required exit visas for any departure, which were rarely granted except in limited cases like ethnic family reunification under external pressure. Unauthorized exit was illegal and often treated as treason. Restrictions held until a 1991 law just before the USSR collapsed. The Iron Curtain and Berlin Wall existed to prevent people from leaving.
