Bernie Sanders is all-in on Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and he got the memo at the end of last month to dismiss Hasan "America deserved 9/11" Piker, whom El-Sayed asked to campaign for him, as "just a podcaster." Democrats seem a little worried that independents and even some Democrats might be wary of voting for a Muslim candidate who is so tight with "a streamer from California" who has a framed newspaper front page of the burning towers on his podcast studio wall.
Sanders reminded us that "they" tried to scare people from voting for John F. Kennedy because he was a Catholic, and from voting for Barack Obama because he was black.
In 1960, they stoked fear about John F. Kennedy because he was Catholic.

In 2008, they stoked fear about Barack Obama because he was Black.
In 2026, they are stoking fear about Dr. Abdul El-Sayed because he is Muslim.
Enough! We must end all forms of bigotry in America.
Does that include bigotry of Muslims against infidels?
Last I checked neither JFK or Obama believed in jihad or Sharia.

Bullshit. He hates America and you defend him because you're both loyal to communism. But guess what? He's more loyal to Islam. You'll be the first head he takes.

Kennedy won. Obama won twice. Apparently “they” means everyone who didn’t vote for them? and now everyone who doesn’t vote for El-Sayed. Convenient little word. Collapsing different people, parties, eras, and objections into one continuous villain?

Abdul El-Sayed should never be condemned because of his name or his faith. He must be unequivocally condemned for his partnership with Hasan Piker and other anti-American bigots and for his sowing of hate.

Stupid comparison. I doubt JFK was hanging out with a guy that says he hates the US and we deserved Pearl Harbor. El Sayed and his friends & family are strangely connected to terror connected groups. JFK was no angel but he was the furthest thing from El Sayed.

Campaigning with a guy who is a Mao supporter, hates America, and pushes communism...

You're an idiot Bernie.
Didn't you get kicked out of the commune?
We don’t want El-Sayed because he is a filthy commie who wants to destroy American values & is a blatant liar caught dozens of times. Stop race baiting. You have fallen so far.
— Zero Fool (@0000fool) September 13, 2026
JFK and Obama never bent over backwards to put themselves in compromising positions regarding their loyalties. Yeah they had detractors saying otherwise but they had the wherewithal to at least make efforts to quell any perceived anti American sentiment.

"Do you disavow Hasan Piker?" "Let's talk about the price of groceries."
In 2026 democrats are stoking fear about white conservative Christians.

Enough! We must end all forms of bigotry in America.
"Christian nationalism" is the Left's new bogeyman now that "white supremacy" has been worn out from overuse.
I’m old enough to remember John Kennedy. Abdul El-Sayed is no John Kennedy.
— Barry Tigay (@TigayBarry) September 14, 2026
Apparently some memories fade fast when political loyalty is at stake, or maybe it’s just cognitive decay.
— Jack Garcia (@VivoJero) September 14, 2026
You sound ridiculous. Kennedy and Obama aren’t character references for El-Sayed. Defend his record, not just his identity…. El-Sayed campaigned with Hasan Piker, who said “America deserved 9/11” amongst other things. You can’t be this dense

Its not bigotry dumbass…its self-preservation. Go write another book and buy another house.

Isn't this the same guy who, a few months ago, was campaigning with a guy with a Nazi Totenkopf tattoo on his chest? Telling us that we must end all forms of bigotry in the U.S.?
