NYTimes Comms Infuriated by Attempt to 'Stoke Outrage' With Screenshots of Today's 9/11 Headlines

As you know, today is the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The New York Times of course could be counted on to provide a spin that Mayor Mamdani probably approves of. These two stories were among the Times' offerings published today (as spotted by @redsteeze Stephen L. Miller):

Those are real screenshots from the actual New York Times.

However, the Times' communications account took offense the sharing of some of what they published today:

Wait, pointing out what's been published in The New York Times is a disingenuous attempt to seek attention and stoke outrage and misrepresents what they've published? Interesting.

If those headlines "stoke outrage" isn't the Times the one doing the outrage stoking?

The Times can always be counted on to do the Norm meme
