Hosted by Shonda Rhimes along with Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof and his wife Heidi, the fundraiser highlights both candidates’ national draw among entertainment-industry donors and the growing pattern of Democrats not appealing to their own constituents.

For example, the majority of Abigail Spanberger's donations came from out of state donors like billionaire Reid Hoffman.
