A tweep shared a video of a family talking about all the anti-depressants or SSRIs they are on.
I remember seeing a TikTok where some girl was at a birthday party(?) going around interviewing people wrt meds and everyone was on like 2-6 things. It’s bleak.

That's crazy. It's endemic in America, unfortunately.

They each shared their dosages and different medications.

That's how it should be.
When I lived in America a girl looked at me in complete horror when I told her I wasn't on any meds. She couldn't believe it https://t.co/dExkBkOi7E

Crazy to consider until the last decade or so, most people were not on any psychiatric medications.
Ativan is CRAZY, it can increase your risk of socialite. This family is NOT OK.

A solid 70-80% of the women I know are on SSRIs. That's also true of my female patients, SSRIs are almost as common as statins and a bit more common than ACE inhibitors. I've also noticed that psychiatric polypharm is FAR more common in female than male patients, excluding people…

It's a bleak development.

I think it’s a combination of women’s deference to authority and their inability to parse their emotions and life experiences. They love therapy-speak: pathologizing normal human experience while treating pathology as normal, or at least inevitable.

Also, women were created to be loving and nurturing. The world is forcing women to be 'boss babes' and it's making so many miserable.
The only one not morbidly obese and deeply empty looking is the one on adderall lmao

There is more to life than making money, working and sleeping with various men.
It's funny how people think taking a pill to treat the symptom is better than fixing the problem.

Accountability & Discipline & Consistency is all they need.
Look at this creature. DON'T take 2mg of Ativan. The daily pint of ice cream is also insane but not as bad somehow. pic.twitter.com/Rb8Q5j3Fah

That's certainly not the look of someone who is happy with her life.
If you need 125mg of Zoloft a day, I really don’t feel like you should be allowed to vote
— Dr. Synod (@DrSynod) August 30, 2026
There are a whole bunch of people who shouldn't be voting for a lot of reasons.
Omg! I briefly used Zoloft last century. Finally getting diagnosed with autoimmune thyroid and getting that sorted out made me happily leave Zoloft behind. Also got BHRT when everyone was terrified of it. I’m happy!

Mind boggling that people stay on those drugs when the problems…
It's so clear to see when you look into their eyes these drugs are harming them mentally. They gaze like they've been lobotomized.

It's so sad to see. So much joy is missing from everyday life.
