Progressive commentator Elie Mystal has devised a regressive way to get the U.S. Supreme Court to do what he wants: extortion. On the Indivisible podcast, he proposed that SCOTUS not get funded until they sign their names to a binding ethics pledge. If they refuse, then they forfeit government-funded security and must fend for themselves.
