It's not hard to tell that Abdul El-Sayed's association with Hasan Piker has been weighing down the socialist Democrat's Senate campaign in Michigan. Before too long the Democrats will be trying to tie Piker to Mike Rogers via AI videos.
Democrat Rep. Debbie Dingell is tired of getting questions about El-Sayed and Piker:
🚨YIKES: Democrats are getting tired of defending Abdul El-Sayed for his antisemitic campaign surrogate Hasan Piker

Rep. Debbie Dingell: "I am DONE. So don't any reporter ask me again about Hasan Piker."
El-Sayed has yet to disavow Piker. pic.twitter.com/HHdhpWvamK
Predictably, El-Sayed's response has been to try and change the subject.
I asked @AbdulElSayed about the criticism he’s gotten from @dananessel and @HillaryScholten in recent days - says he’s had convos with some in the party: “I think the question right now is how do we get together to beat Donald Trump?” pic.twitter.com/yp6gVEbPEL

El-Sayed has been trying to make distance from Piker by calling him "a streamer in California":
U.S. Sen. candidate @AbdulElSayed (D-MI) on Hasan Piker: "You would think, if you turned on any media, that this whole campaign is about a streamer in California. That's not what this campaign has ever been about." pic.twitter.com/NF6znPab5v

That "streamer in California" has been campaigning for El-Sayed in Michigan a bit.

Then, uh… why did you have him campaign with you? https://t.co/nx0cZltDXe

Abdul El-Sayed doesn't want to dance anymore with the one who brought him. Piker is his running mate, and that isn't going to change. https://t.co/09yNHSu3yT

"This campaign is not about the extremists who hate America that I campaign with and don't disassociate with, it's actually about my agenda of socialism and hating Israel. These darn Republicans are trying to distract you!" https://t.co/tV39FbLMLg

El-Sayed can try to run but he won't be able to hide from who he really is and what his friends stand for.
