NYC Legal Immigrants Are Working Together to STICK IT to Zohran Mamdani and We Are Here FOR IT

Immigrant-owned grocery stores and bodegas across New York City are pushing back hard against Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s signature plan for taxpayer-funded, government-run supermarkets, arguing the city-subsidized outlets—complete with steep discounts and zero tax obligations—will create unfair competition that could wipe out the very small businesses that have long served working-class neighborhoods.

Almost as if they all figured out that socialism sucks.

Too bad more New Yorkers didn't figure this out before they elected a socialist mayor.

To be fair, it's absolutely possible these grocers did not vote for Mamdani. We'd like to think plenty of them did not.
