Democrats Declare ‘Blue Wave’ ... After Sweeping Their Own Primaries and X Has HILARIOUS Thoughts

Democrats are declaring a full-blown “blue wave” because they managed to flip a couple of school board seats in Florida, snag one city council spot in Jacksonville, and eke out a special election win in a Pennsylvania state House district.

Never mind that these are mostly local or nonpartisan races in places where the party already had a foothold or faced low-turnout specials — apparently beating the other team (or sometimes just fellow Democrats) in a handful of down-ballot contests is all the proof they need that the midterms are already in the bag.

Their post also reads as if they're claiming they swept their own primaries.

Now, to be fair they are trying to make a big deal out of a few local races BUT as usual, their marketing and messaging failed them in more ways than one.
