Here's What WaPo's Infallible Fact-Checker Was Saying About Eric Swalwell and Fang Fang Not Long Ago

As we told you earlier in the day on Monday, the FBI dropped some memos showing former Rep. Eric Swalwell, who was on the House Intelligence Committee, was deeply involved with the suspected Chinese spy known as "Fang Fang"

Swalwell got away with that relationship until somebody decided it would be inconvenient for the Democrats when he was running to be governor of California. 

As a reminder of what a joke some of the media "fact checkers" are, Tom Elliott shared a flashback to former Washington Post truth-seeker Glenn Kessler waving away any suggestions that Swalwell acted inappropriately with the Fangster: 

"There's no evidence Swalwell did anything wrong -- four Pinocchios."
