Ex-Trump Lawyer Tells Mehdi Hasan He's Not Sure American Democracy Survives 2026 Midterms

Before we get into Ty Cobb (not that Ty Cobb), this editor took note about a week ago that CNN anchor Jake Tapper is now reposting videos by serial fabulist Aaron Rupar. Wayne Allyn Root of Real America's Voice told President Trump, "You have the right to declare a national security emergency for elections," to which Trump replied, "Stranger things have happened." That led Tapper to confess that there's zero reason to believe Trump isn't planning something alarming to disrupt the midterms.

Ty Cobb was a White House attorney who left Trump's legal team in 2018. Hasan asked Cobb whether American democracy would survive Donald Trump come 2028, and Cobb replied that he wasn't sure it would survive 2026.

The post continues:

… of color to have the ability to go to the polls and he’s gonna do everything he can in blue states and elsewhere to try to prevent this election from going smoothly”

He doesn't want illegal immigrants to have the ability to go to the polls, which is why he's pushing the SAVE America Act, which we're certain Cobb opposes. If Democrats were serious about the election going smoothly, they'd get on board and stop with the scare tactics, like saying married women would lose the right to vote.

Gov. Gavin Newsom, who's been openly campaigning for president for years now, assured us that there wasn't going to be an election in 2028 … and yet he keeps campaigning against Trump.

Democrats are electing candidates who want to abolish the Senate, the presidency, and the Electoral College, and these two clowns think Trump is the danger to democracy. We'll bet Cobb that if the midterms go off without interference, he shaves off the stupid mustache. And we mean without interference by Trump: no state interference by allowing illegals to vote, losing USB drives, and finding suspicious late-night batches of mail-in ballots.

These are the same people who thought Trump wouldn't leave office after his first term and the military would have to drag him out of the White House by force.
