Thomas Massie: It's Hard to Take Nick Shirley Seriously Until He Starts Calling Out Trump

As our own Grateful Calvin reported earlier on Saturday, independent journalist Nick Shirley claimed he and his crew had uncovered over $190 million in fraud through adult and personal home care scams in New York City. When Shirley did the same in California, the state assembly tried to pass what critics of Gov. Gavin Newsom nicknamed the Stop Nick Shirley Act. The governor's press office made memes of Shirley pressed up against the glass of daycare centers while strapped with dozens of cameras.

Rep. Thomas Massie used to be one of our favorites, but unfortunately, it seems the TDS has gotten to him. Rather than praise Shirley for exposing hundreds of millions in fraud, Massie posted that it was hard to take him seriously until he started to call out Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, and President Donald Trump for funding the daycare fraud.

Massie said in a follow-up post that he appreciates Shirley's work, but it sure doesn't sound like it.
