Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is betting that two rival Somali gangs will abide by an injunction keeping them in a "safety zone" at the Minnesota State Fair later this month to avoid a threatened shootout at the popular attraction. Ellison says there will be consequences if these gang members ignore the injunction. Ellison and Ramsey County Attorney John Choi announced a joint civil lawsuit seeking a temporary injunction against members of two rival criminal gangs, "Ville" and "Muddy," from standing, sitting, walking, or appearing together anywhere in public view or at the fairgrounds.
I can’t believe this is how low we’ve let America sink

2 Somali gangs are preparing for a violent rival shootout at the upcoming 2026 Minnesota State Fair

The post continues:
… rival Somali street gangs
There is a proposed “safety zone” injunction would bar Somali gang members from associating with one another
There is hype from Somalians on social media calling this “The biggest battle of the summer” with even betting taking place on which Somali gang will win
There was prior fights, shootings and other violence linked to the groups at and near the fair during 2024–2025, plus incidents at graduations and elsewhere
So this year the Somali gangs are planning on upping the violence
We can’t even have a fair in America without foreigners ruining it. Our culture is being destroyed
Deport them ALL
We wouldn't have believed it if it weren't reported on local media. KSTP reports:
A lawsuit filed Friday in Ramsey County seeks to prevent the members of two rival gangs from gathering at the Minnesota State Fair.
The lawsuit, filed by Ramsey County Attorney John Choi and Attorney General Keith Ellison, connects the “Ville” and “Muddy” gangs to multiple fights, assaults and shootings at the State Fair and around the Twin Cities in the last several years.
Nearly two weeks ago, an alleged Ville gang member posted about the 2026 State Fair on social media, promoting “the biggest battle of the summer” at the fair on Aug. 29, with individual Ville and Muddy gang members listed, according to court filings.
Friday’s lawsuit asks the court to bar members of either gang from “associating, standing, sitting, walking, driving, bicycling, gathering or appearing” at the State Fair with other Ville or Muddy gang members.

Minnesota allowing a Somali civil war is peak lunacy...who needs a reenactment at Gettysburg, you can get a modern version at the Minnesota State Fair.

A gang injunction specifically for the state fair. 😂

They know who they are. They all have rap sheets. EVERYONE knows they are being given free reign at the Fair. Then the same reporter will file a report after the fair, shocked that was attendance was down. She might do the report in Somali.

I doubt many people are going to show up anyway... not now

If you go to the @mnstatefair steer clear of the midway area, and on the corner where Coasters and the Frontier Bar are. Thugs hang out there, even lay around on LEO vehicles.

Sadly, MN is gone as it was once was.
Run by corrupt thug supporting Marxists.
@keithellison so murderous somali gang members are scared of your “injunction”? What are you thinking?
— Enemy of the Leviathan (@kirk_quotes) August 10, 2026
An injunction? The gang war is off!
What do you mean? They have been asked to avoid each other at the fair, should solve it right?
— John.Galt (@Co1one1_Forbin) August 10, 2026
I’d recommend innocent civilians stay home and leave these 2 gangs to work out their differences. Maybe by the end of feud, they will have fewer gang members?
— MeBoomBoomDown (@MeBoomBoomDown) August 10, 2026
So they are just expecting members of these Somali gangs to follow the rules and play nice?
— William Hunt (@BillerDude) August 10, 2026
Again, Ellison has promised consequences.
A “safety zone.” FFS. You can’t make this up. I was going to sarcastically suggest it be made into a gun-free zone.

Boycott the fair, let the gangs unalive each other and deport the survivors.

Here’s an idea, let them meet up, surround them by ICE, backed up by the National Guard with prison busses, then load them up on airplanes back to Somalia 🇸🇴 MSGA! Thanks for your attention to this matter.

This really is a shame. How many people are going to be scared to attend the fair because of these social media posts?
